The solders are from Maryland and the area, 151st LOD (Legal Operations Detachment). They are on Range 28A on the Fort Dix Range Complex during range training for M16A1. The object is to train and test soldiers on the skills necessary to detect, identify, engage and defeat stationary personnel targets in a tactical array.
