Geeganage Hemawathi, aged 73 with her grandson Dilshan, who is 2 and a half years old and her daughter Jeewa who is 22. She survived the Tsunami that struck Sri lanka in 2006 by climbing up a wall. After the Tsunami – she had a mental breakdown from the trauma of the events. She lost her belongings. She says she felt devastated by the loss. The things had memories for her as they had been collected over a long period of time. Sri Lanka.
