A Roman terra sigillata jug in the form of a female head, circa 290 - 320 , North African ceramic of several moulded parts, made at the "Navigius workshop" named after a potter in central Tunisia who manufactured these popular export articles. Female head with typical hairdo, the back of the head decorated with a veil with an incised, chequered pattern. A ca. 6 cm tall, slightly broadening spout with reinforced lip on the head.
