WELISARA NAVAL BASE, Sri Lanka (March 29, 2017) A Sri Lankan Marine demonstrates the proper application of a tourniquet under the direction of Marines and Sailors with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) during the tactical casualty combat care portion of a military tactics training and exchange at Welissara Naval Base as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, March 29. The 11th MEU and USS Comstock (LSD 45) are in Sri Lanka to impart expertise on a range of topics, as part of ongoing exchanges between the two forces to enhance skillsets and strengthen relations.
