The sweet chestnut avenue (Castanea sativa P. MILL) of Schloss Dyck near Grevenbroich in North Rhine-Westphalia is, with over 214 trees planted between 1794 and 1811, the largest and probably also oldest sweet chestnut avenue still existing in the whole of Germany.
