Taunt, photographer (British, 1842 - 1922) 1897 One of two tipped-in photographs illustrating a printed map of Lechlade, Upper Inglesham, and the surrounding area along the River Thames. The photograph shows a view of the Inglesham roundhouse at the confluence of the Thames and Coln rivers with the Thames and Severn Canal. A wooden bridge crosses the river right in front of the roundhouse. (Recto, mount) lower center, below image, printed in black ink: "INGLESHAM ROUND HOUSE, &c."
