Auto repair shop owners in Willets Point in Queens, New York protest the city's plans to evict them

In the shadow of Citi Field the automobile repair shops of Willets Point in the borough of Queens in New York are seen on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. The city has been evicting the businesses and the owners are protesting the alleged cronyism in regards to the development of the area into a shopping and hotel mecca. The 61 acre area, called the "Iron Triangle", has been an industrial area servicing car owners for decades. The property owners, who pay thousands of dollars a year in taxes, are given minimal services, potholed streets, no sanitation, or street cleaning and have no sewer system. (© Richard B. Levine)
