Foetuses and DNA. Conceptual artwork of unborn human babies (foetuses in circular bubbles) and a strand of the genetic material, DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). The image is backdropped against scientific text on genetics and chemical structures of parts of DNA. The different atoms of the DNA are represented by differently coloured spheres. The atoms are colour coded: carbon (red), nitrogen (blue), phosphorus (yellow) and oxygen (orange). This image could represent genetic engineering, or the mapping of human genes known as the human genome project. Everybody's DNA varies slightly, giving humans individuality.
