Air Force aircrew members assigned to the 1st Expeditionary Rescue Group perform helicopter aerial refueling (HAAR) from an HC-130J Combat King II with HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters during an agile combat employment exercise within the Central Command area of responsibility, Dec. 3, 2022. The ACE exercise enabled pilots, loadmasters, special warfare airmen, and special mission aviators to increase their combat search and rescue proficiency by working as a rescue triad consisting of HH-60s, HC-130s, and Pararescue forces in unison to rescue isolated personnel in a hostile environment.
