A 10 metre effigy of Manchester City footballer Mario Balotelli will be burnt at the stake following a tradition that The Edenbridge Bonfire Society has carried out since the 1990’s of selecting a different ‘Celebrity Guy Fawkes’ each year to be sacrificed. Balotelli was chosen this year because his house was nearly burnt down after a friend set off a firework in the bathroom.
