He then started out for himselfand i)iu-chased sixty-four acres of land, being thenucleus of the farm upon which he now lives. Hav-ing no resources at hand Mr. Collins was obligedto run in debt to a considerable extent for hisplace, but being successful from the first he wasenabled soon to liquidate tlie indebtedness andadded piece by piece oilier lands.
