A view of how it would have appeared to arrive in Princeton, Illinois while riding on one of its steps as a member of the train crew. In the background is a fixture of the community along the railroad tracks, a vintage grain elevator that has endured for many decades as was a local landmark when a caboose was on the back end of every freight train. The former Burlington Railroad caboose is permantly on display on a track next to the Princeton Depot.
