Through its twice lai'g'er, acute, glabrous silicles it is quite different from that species. Abundant on mount Chionisti'a, in tissures of rocks and among- gravel, up to the very summit (SR 844!, JH 974). .4. coniensatum Boiss, et Haussk. in Bdiss. Fl. orient. 1, 268 (1867) et Suppl. 49; Hnter in (Jesterr. bot. Zeitscbr. 1904, 269.—'iA. nrgmtetim Kotsohy, Cypern, 327 (1865); B«iss. Fl. orient. Kotschy's specimens ai-e without siliculcs, but probably appertain to this spe- cies. At any rate they do not belong to ,4. argcnteum Wittm., an Italian species, which has only by confusion been indicated for the Orient (see Boiss. Fl. oiient. Suppl., p. 50; Halacsy, Fl. Graec.
