This section was previously examinedon May 22, 1908, and again on Oct. 22, conditions were found to be generallysimilar to those at the time of the last ex-amination, although it is quite certain thatthe number of blisters has been increasingwhile the tubercules have remained practical-ly constant as to numbers. The deepest pit-ting found was ins., which shows no in-crease over the extreme depth found fiveyears ago. Here were found frequent smallpatches of spongilla, none of which were seenin the High Hill section. Later in the seasonthese will be very much larger in all partsof the pipe.
