Tango 492 signal on the up Redhill line approaching Redhill station on the line from Reigate; this signal protects Redhill station and isa four aspect signal with threatre box and destination indicator as well as position signal which if the platform ahead is occupied will display two white lights at 45 degrees indicating caution required as there is an obstruction ahead. This signal is controlled by Three Bridges signal control centre. This signal can display a single yellow,double yellow, geen or red aspect depending on how the track points are set.
