Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Fireworks Production from Edinburgh Castle Shaun Gibson and Lynn Wiseman, Pyrotechnicians from Titanium Fireworks one of the largest fireworks companies in the UK and the masters behind the world-famous Edinburgh’s Hogmanay fireworks provide an advanced look at the significant production put in place ahead of the iconic Midnight Moment fireworks around the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle, which this year have been produced and choreographed to a soundtrack created exclusively by Mark Ronson as part of his headline performance for Hogmanay in the Gardens. This year’s fireworks production involves 9km of wire connecting up to 121 modules, each with 32 cues, delivering tonnes of fireworks up to 300m above the Edinburgh skyline, fired by 19 pyrotechnicians. More than 3600 fireworks will feature containing almost 16000 shots and hundreds of thousands of stars in every known firework colour, from fuchsia through blue to purples and from silvers through gold to oranges to reds.
