This railroad was incoriiorated by the legislature during the session of 1853,by an act approved April 22d cf that year, under the No. 149, tor the purpose ofconstructing a railroad from the town of Algiers to 5ome point on tiie Sabine river,the boundary between Louisiana and Texas.
