A dagger M 43 for diplomats, Nickel-plated, double-edged thrusting blade. The quillons gilt, terminating in two globes with floral ornamentation, the pommel bearing the hammer and sickle hallmark, the handle in orange synthetic material. The scabbard covered in black leather with en suite mountings, the state coat of arms on the obverse, the crossed palm branches of the diplomatic corps on the reverse. Black hangers with gilt metal elements. Length circa 21 cm. A similar dagger is exhibited in the "Cabinet of Glory" at the Ministry for Foreign Af, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
