Entrance stairwy to the Monastery of the Holy Cross, Omodos, Limassol district Timiou Stavrou, Troodos Mountains. Omodos is a wine producing village, once the property of Crusader Sir John De Brie, Prince of Galilee. The Monastery of the 'Holy Cross' (or Timiou Stavrou in Greek) is situated next to the stone-paved square. The monastery contains old icons, excellent wood carvings and other ecclesiastical objects of interest, as well as the small Museum of National Struggle. The village is located in the Limassol district of Cyprus, in the Troodos Mountains.
