2. Lot # 253 Collection of Cabinet Photographs of Buffalo Soldiers & Their Families, Including MOH Recipient. 62 photographs, 12 of which are cabinet cards of Buffalo Soldiers in uniform. Three of the views are from Goff’s studios in Fort Custer, MN, and Dickinson, ND, and two were taken in Laredo and San Antonio, TX. The remaining photographs are of African-American men, women, and children. The majority of the civilian photos have Huntsville, AL studio imprints, but some portraits were also taken by Goff.
