As a wife, shewas thoroughly committed to her husband and his work. As a mother, she lavished affec-tion and motherly toil upon her children. As a family economist, she had no superior. Onthe one hand she knew the actual worth of a dollar, and could make it go as far in familylife as any one I ever knew. Yet on the other her heart was as large as her prudencewas necessary and wise. Because she was prudent, she always could give, and what shesaved, she was always ready to give, and give without stint, to the Tord. Her memory isvery precious to her dear ones left
