A scenic part of the River Thames as it joins Hinksey Stream at Kennington. This is part of the Thames Path, and the scene is dominated by two bridges - an abandoned railway bridge, unused for many years, in the distance; in the foreground, a footbridge over the Hinksey tributary. The result is rather abstract in composition, especially in winter fog, with a reclining cyclist crossing the footbridge.
