The Old House of Keys in Castletown on the south coast of the Isle of Man, Britain. The building has not been in use since it moved to Douglas, the islandÕs capital in 1874. It is a museum and is part of Manx national heritage. The Manx parliament has been existence for 1,000 years and is the world's oldest continuous parliament. The Isle of Man with its capital city, Douglas is located in the middle of the Irish Sea between northern England and northern Ireland. It has the status of 'crown dependency', similar to Jersey and Guernsey in the Channel Islands But its inhabitants are British citizens. The Isle of Man is world famous for its annual TT motorcycle races and also it is the home of the rare cat, the Manx Cat as it has no tail.
