Parachuted candy is dropped from a C-54 Skymaster in Spanish Fork, Utah May 21, 2022, in honor of legendary World War II pilot Col. Gail Halverson. Halverson was best known as the “Berlin Candy Bomber” or “Uncle Wiggly Wings” for dropping candy to German children during the Berlin Airlift from 1948-49.
