Expedition 56 Preflight Expedition 56 flight engineer Alexander Gerst of ESA (European Space Agency) is helped into his Russian Sokol suit as he and fellow crewmates, Serena Auñón-Chancellor of NASA and Sergey Prokopyev of Roscosmos prepare for their Soyuz launch to the International Space Station, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Launch of the Soyuz rocket will send Gerst, Auñón-Chancellor, and Prokopyev on a six month mission aboard the International Space Station.
