The English Garden with its large lake at Keukenhof Lisse in the south of Holland. The English gardens created by landscape architects Jan David Zocher and his son Louis Paul Zocher in 1857. It has a large lake surrounded with tall trees, sweeping lawns and rows of tulips and other spring flowers. The name, ÔKeukenhofÕ meaning Kitchen garden created in 1949 is a 32 hectares (79 acres) garden, one of the worldÕs largest gardens and is known as the ÔGarden of EuropeÕ.
