Pararescuemen of the 83rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron prepare to begin night firing drills Nov. 18, 2016 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Some of the 83rd ERQS’s Guardian Angels are seasoned veterans, while others are experiencing their first deployment. Training opportunities such as these allow veterans to pass on their experiences from multiple deployments.
