She is a daugliterof Daniel and Klizabeth (Lawrence) Goodhue, theformer a native of Clieshire County, N. H., and thelatter of Weston, Windsor County, Vt. Theywere married in AVeston, and sj^ent two years inthat locality, where Mr. Goodhue owned a timbertract, from which he made shingles.
