As soon as large enough to handle, the little plants should be transplanted to the places where they are to bloom the following summer. Some evergreen branches, or a little straw or coarse hay, thrown over them â when the ground begins to freeze, makes all the winter covering these plants require. In the spring a little fine manure and some bone meal should be dug about each plant. Calycanthema {Gup iind Saucer Canlerbur;/ Bells). This is un questionably the finest type of this old-fashioned and much-prized garden plant. They differ from the ordinary type in having an extra large calyx, which is of the same color as the flower, giving the appearance of a cup and saucer. We offer them in separate colors as well as in mixture, viz: per pkt. 1736 Rose= 15 [ 1735 Blue 15 | 1738 White 15 1740 Finest Mixed. All colors of the Cup and Saucer type. J oz., 75 cts. 10 1734 Double-flowering Cup and Saucer. A new race from a celebrated French Hybridizer. The double blossoms appear like three flowers placed one inside the other. These are produced freely in all the colors found in Canterbury Bells. About one-half of the seedlings may be expected to come true to type 25 Medium (Single Ganterhury Bells).
