They roam at will over fields and woods, growing into strong, vig- orous fowls, under such condi- tions being able to acquire un- usual strength and vitality. Hall Mammoth Incubators, with a total capacity of 10,400, furnish an output of sixty thousand chicks during the season beginning February 1 and ending June 15. The brooder house is two hundred and twenty feet long, and has a capacity of six thousand chicks. There are five laying houses with a capacity of twenty-four hundred. Ranged along a sunny slope are forty colony houses of the open front type which accommodate from seventy-five to one hundred chicks A Laying of Four Hundred Eggs.
