It is a good way to plant at two or three different times, ten days or two weeks apart. This will give a succession of bloom from July to November. Planted among hardy roses or shrubbery, they make a grand show of beauty, when these things are out of flower. Although the new high-priced varie- ties are very fiine, we find our choice mixed varieties nearly or quite as good. They comprise every shade of color from creamy white through the difTerent shades of pink and scarlet to bright crimson. Where the selection is left to us, we try to give the greatest amount of beauty for the least money. TWO BEAUTIFUL GLADIOLlJS.
