NORFOLK, Va. (April 19, 2017) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Emmanuel Shirley, aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman's (CVN 75) Search-and-Rescue (SAR) Swimmer, returns with "Oscar," a training dummy, into a Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat during a man overboard exercise at Naval Station Norfolk. Truman is currently undergoing a Planned Incremental Availability (PIA) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard for maintenance and refurbishment of shipboard systems to prepare for future operations.
