The Jci Giant\ or great jet, to the left ofthe cascades, rises to the height of 136ft. A military band playsin the park on Sun. and Thurs. in summer, from 8 to 4 or Carriages are not allowed to enter the park without aticket (I fr.), to be obtained at the tobacconists near the bridge. A few unimportantremains are all that are left. The site was converted in 1893 intoa terrace with gardens. It commands a good view of Paris (see below);another good view is obtained from the Trocadero, or old privategarden, on the height to the right. — Rest of the park, see below. The Church of St. Cloud is a handsome modern edilice, by Dela-rue, in the Gothic style of the 12th century, with a lofty spire. Thechoir is adorned with mural paintings by J. Duval-le-Camus, re-presenting scenes from the life of St. Clodoald. The church alsocontains some fine stained glass. Opposite the church are the remains of the abbey where was interred, and adjacent is a handsome modern Hdtel deVille. A little above the church is the Hospic
