Marine Lance Cpl. Jennifer Nadine May Elder, a logistics vehicle systems operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 and 20-year-old native of Rockwall, Texas, was naturalized as an American citizen during a ceremony here, Feb. 10. Elder, a former citizen of United Kingdom, was one of 16 Marines who officially became citizens during the ceremony. Elder grew up in Portsmouth, England, and was 6 years old when she immigrated to America in 1998. She enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2010.
