Daniels, a well-knownold-time linseed oil man, who has been inthe business since 1878, Before his con-nection with The Sherwin-Williams Co. hewas a director in The American LinseedCo., and manager of their plant at Buffalo, The establishment of this plant is charac-teristic of |the policy of The Sherwin- plants at Cleveland, Chicago, Newark andMontreal, with warehouses and offices inseven other cities. Their entrance into the linseed oil field isof distinct and significant New Linseed Oil Plant of The Sherwin-Williams Co. they have for some time been quietly atwork on the plans of the new plant. The plant is of the most modern type,and is probably one of the best equippedand arranged in existance. It is locatedon the Cuyahoga River, a short distancefrom plant No. 1 of the Sherwin-WilliamsCo., and is admirably situated, with fineshipping facilities, both by water and has been built with a view to expansion,the plat of ground and engine and boilercapacity making it possible to double theoutput within a few months time if neces-sary. The company owns its own steamship,the A. G. Lindsay, for carrying the seeddown the lakes from the Northwest, andwill, therefore, be perfectly independent ofoutsiders for everything connected with theiroil supply. They will go direct to thefarmer for the seed and be able to makecertain of good oil from the very foundationup. They can be depended upon to pro-duce the best oil
