Pectoral as long as head, extending a little beyond vertical of origin of anal. Ventral reaching a little beyond origin of anal. Caudal truncate. Caudal peduncle 1| times as long as deep. Scales very feebly denticu- late, 33 j^; lateral lines ^. Grey above and beneath, darker on the back; a blackish opercular spot; fins dark grey, ventrals blackish ; three large round orange spots encircled with red, on the anal fin. Total length 105 millim.
