Add 1^2 inches to the skirt-depth: Locate point i on paper or material,that distance from the bottom or right-hand edge, and 4 inches from the front edge,toward the opposite edge of the same. 2. Draw Hne A, at right angles with the front edge, from point i toward theopposite edge, to the distance of % of the chest-circumference from point i; at whichpoint, locate point 2. 3. Locate point 3 on Hne A, the distance of ]/2 of the blade-width from point 2,toward point i. 4. Draw line B, at right angles with line A, from point 3 toward the top, tothe distance of the waist-depth from point 3; at which point, locate point 4. 5. Draw line C, at right angles with line B, from point 4 toward the oppositeedge, to the distance of }4, of the blade-width from point 4; at which point, locatepoint 5. 6. Find the sum of the waist-depth, plus the skirt-depth
