Sigmund Jahn (born 1937), German astronaut. Jahn was the first German to fly in space. He was Flight Engineer on both the Soyuz 29 (launched 15th June 1978) and Soyuz 31 (launched 26th August 1978) missions as part of the Soviet Union's Interkosmos programme.
