November 3, 2012, New York, NY, US. Five days after Hurricane Sandy, some small businesses in lower Manhattan reopened after electricity was restored to most of the island. Cleanup in lower-lying parts of the financial district continued as crews pumped water out of buildings. Tourists also returned to Battery Park where some lined up to board a ferry for the Statue of Liberty.
