Jack Evans Porpoise Pool, Coolangatta, 1 September 1963. The Jack Evans Porpoise Pool was one of the earliest tourist attractions on the Gold Coast, opening in 1956. Although the original photograph is captioned as being at Tweed Heads, the pool was on the northern side of Point Danger, Coolangatta.
