bananas, pineapple, bourganvillea in UK greenhouse
Tomatoes are planted out in the border on the right of image, whilst in the centre are 3 varieties of edible bananas , which will be moved out into garden end of May. Because of the shortage of room, potted and fruiting pineapples, flowering geraniums etc are perched on the larger containers of bananas. After the large bananas are moved outside, this will open up the centre for me to reposition bourganvillea, citrus, pomegranates etc which are currently crowding the left side and bottom end of the greenhouse. Yellow sticky traps are positioned throughout the greenhouse to catch aphids & whitefly etc.
