Freshly fallen snow blankets a mountain peak and an illuminated, autumn colored slope above the East Iceland town of Borgarfjordur Eystri. A tiny community dwarfed by the Dyrfjoll range along a fjord off the Norwegian was isolated from its surroundings until a round was built through the mountains.
