This small gonna is interesting,inasmnch as, with tlio exception of the essentially NorthAmerican C. bulbifera (Fig. 306), all others are indigenonsto this country and well adapted for planting in theoutdoor Fernery, where shady and well-drained spotsshould be selected for them, all being found gron-ingnaturally at high elevationa.
