Shildon Co. Durham 20 September 2017: Ex British Railways 2-6-0 steam locomotive 78018 was loaded on to road transport vehicles to be returned to The Great Central Railway in Loughborough today. The locomotive, built in Darlington, had been attending the “Autumn Steam Gala” on September 16/17th at Locomotion National Railway Museun at Shildon Co, Durham for transport to the GCR at Loughborough. The transportation was carried out by specialists Reid Freight Services Ltd.
