A key for the southern portal of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin, German, dated 1 September 1895 Of iron. Finely pierced bow with eagle motif, engraved at centre "I. Sept. 1895" and on the opposite side "W I" as relief on chased ground. Chiselled twisted cord. Two-piece pierced bit. In red, velvet lined closable leather case with gold embossed, contemporary lid inscription "Kaiser Wilhelm-Gedächntiss-Kirche. Süd-Portal". Lid loose, slightly damaged, signs of age.
