The upper reaches of Glen Convinth form a deep sided gorge along Allt Dearg before the road pushes up the Culnakirk to reach Drumnadrochit. This section has a really "otherworldy" feel about it, at least it does to me. It's a section I am still trying to photograph in a way to convey how I feel when I pass through it. It is the first day of spring, but it feels like we are still very much stuck in winter today after a few lovely days featuring warm sunshine. The wind is back, it is cold and the sun is only making fleeting appearances so far.
