This hybrid Kynipha.'a is of the Dentata ty]ie, a vigorous orower and free-flowering; the leaves are bronzy-green, deeply dentated ; the flowers are of the largest size, opening horizontally ; color rosy-red ; stamens orange-red ; a most attractive flower. Euryale Ferox. This was the noblest aquatic in cultivation be- fore the introduction of Victoria Regia. Large circular leaves, about two feet in diameter, with prominent spiny veins on the rich purple under side, the upper side being olive-green, puckered and spiny. Flowers deep violet. § each, Nymphaea Coerulea. (Stellata.) One of the choicest of all Nymphseas. The flowers are a clear light blue, very delicately Nvmph^a Dentata. scented; produced in abundance through the season until frost; 6 to 8 inches across. Native of Egypt and other parts of Africa.
