The corsa all'Anello is held in the mediaeval town of Narni in Umbria every year between the three contrada or neighbourhoods. (Terziere) Santa Maria, Fraporta and Mezule. A mediaeval jousting contest where riders on horseback have to collect a ring on the end of their lance while at full gallop in honour of Santo Giovenale, first bishop of Narni.
