He was ordainedan Elder April 1, 1923, by Hyrum and presided over the 2nd Quo-rum of Elders in the 4th Ward of theOgden Stake from 1925 to 1926. OnJan. 10, 1936, he was ordained a HighPriest by Stake Pres. Wm. H. Reeder,jun. In 1926-1928 he filled a mission tothe Northern States, and after his re-turn presided for two years over theY. M. M. I. A. of the Ogden 4th was a member of the Mount OgdenStake Sunday School Board from1931 to 1935, and became a memberof the general board of the DeseretSunday School Union, Dec. 22, has been actively engaged in Sun-day school work since his early youthwith the exception of two yearsin M.
