This image may not be used to state or imply NOAO endorsement of any company or product False-colour optical image of the quasar QSO 0351+026 (top) interacting with its companion, a faint galaxy (bottom). The two objects have similar redshifts, indicating that they lie at roughly the same distance from Earth. The image was recorded by the four-metre Mayall telescope at Kitt Peak and has been computer processed to enhance the red bulge seen at right, evidence that the two objects are interacting.
